LOOK: The stunning floats at the 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival

It's that time of the year again when the official entries of this year's Metro Manila Film Festival show off their extravagant floats at the annual Parade of Stars.

The stars of the festival's participating films attended the affair on Saturday, Dec. 21.

Some of the brightest names who were spotted at the event were Vilma Santos and Nadine Lustre for Uninvited; Vice Ganda, Eugene Domingo, and Gladys Reyes for And the Breadwinner Is...; Vic Sotto and Cristine Reyes for The Kingdom; Carlo Aquino and Julia Barretto for Hold Me Close; Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin from My Future You; Arjo Atayde and Julia Montes for Topakk; Judy Ann Santos for Espantaho; Aicelle Santos and Bituin Escalante for Isang Himala; Dennis Trillo and Ruru Madrid for Green Bones; and Enrique Gil and Jane De Leon for Strange Frequencies: Taiwan Killer Hospital.

The parade started at the Kartilya ng Katipunan and will conclude at the Manila Central Post Office.

The MMFF this year has a total of 10 entries. They received 39 scripts from production companies for its 50th edition.

The Parade of Stars is an annual tradition showcasing floats inspired by the official entries. On the awards night, the best float will be recognized along with the major acting awards.

Th 50th MMFF will run from Dec. 25 to Jan. 7.
