Attention, K-drama fans! Song Joong Ki will star in a new drama titled My Youth.

HighZium Studio, the actor's agency, confirmed that the beloved Korean actor will headline the upcoming drama alongside The Atypical Family star Chun Woo Hee.

According to the K-entertainment website Soompi, My Youth is a romance drama that follows the story of Sunwoo Hae (played by Song Joong Ki), a novelist and florist "who has just escaped a chaotic life and started a new chapter," and Sung Je Yeon (played by Chun Woo Hee), who must "disrupt her first love's tranquility for her own success."

The plot develops as these two characters—who had previously helped each other through their lowest points—reunite after more than ten years and begin to share fresh, wonderful experiences.

The drama, which is slated to premiere in 2025, was penned by Run On writer Park Si Hyun and directed by Lee Sang Yeop, who helmed Yumi's Cells, Familiar Wife, and Shopaholic Louis.

Further details, such as where it will be streamed, are yet to be announced.

Joong Ki is known for his roles in TV series and films including Descendants of the Sun, Vincenzo, Space Sweepers, and Reborn Rich, among others. He previously made a cameo in the hit drama Queen of Tears as the Italian mafia lawyer Vincenzo Cassano.

Meanwhile, Woo Hee became famous for her roles in various hit K-drama series, including The Atypical Family, The 8 Show, Delightfully Deceitful, and Hang Gong-ju.
