Gordon Ramsay to open first restaurant in the Philippines
Internationally renowned chef Gordon Ramsay is set to open his first restaurant in the Philippines.
Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill will have its own branch at the Newport World Resorts in Pasay City in 2024, offering the iconic Beef Wellington among other delicious dishes.
Kevin Tan, the chairman of Newport World Resorts, expressed his excitement over their partnership. “We are delighted to partner with chef Gordon Ramsay on his first restaurant in the Philippines,” he said in a statement, adding that customers can look forward to “more exciting announcements” from them in the next few months.
Gordon Ramsay Bar and Grill is known for its signature rare breed steaks, which are “aged on-site in specialist Himalayan salt lockers” before being grilled for the best taste and quality. According to its website, customers can choose from a daily selection of native and rare breed prime beef cuts, which are sourced from its artisan suppliers and dry-aged for a minimum of 35 days.
Also included in the menu are burgers as well as fresh market fish and salad, among others.
Ramsay is a multi-Michelin-starred chef who has opened various restaurants in different parts of the world. He’s best known for cooking shows such as Kitchen Nightmares, Hell’s Kitchen, Hotel Hell, and MasterChef US.
