Zomato bids goodbye to Manila
Zomato is no longer accessible in the Philippines.
Zomato—an online platform where foodies can look up and discover restaurants, make reservations, order food, and write reviews—has ended its services in Manila on Thursday, February 2, as seen on its website.
“It has been a great run, but we have sadly stopped our operations here,” wrote the Indian-based multinational restaurant aggregator.
They added that their website and app are still accessible in India and United Arab Emirates (UAE), and that customers can still “explore dine-in restaurants and order amazing food.”
In November 30, 2020, the company stopped its Zomato Pro (previously Zomato Gold) membership program in the Philippines. This paid program benefits its members of exclusive discounts and deals for dine-in consumers.
“Thank you for trusting us and letting us play a role in your life. We are grateful for the love and support we’ve received from all of our pro members. We are truly grateful to the passionate restaurant owners and managers, who have always welcomed our pro customers with open arms,” said Zomato.
