After technical difficulties, IKEA PH to extend Family Club registration until Sunday, July 11
Didn’t get to sign up for the IKEA Family Club due to the site’s technical difficulties? Here’s some good news: you can still get a chance to do so and be part of its highly anticipated raffle until Sunday, July 11.
The IKEA Family Club website crashed a few moments after its launch today, July 7, following the massive number of people who tried to access it at the same time.
“We were looking at 100,000 members within the first 24 hours and our site can actually accommodate 120,000 sign-ups per hour,” marketing manager Jasmin Cruz told PhilSTAR L!fe. “But we just had a super high surge in the first minute at midnight—more than 100,000 in minutes."
It’s not yet up as of this writing, but thankfully, the home furnishing brand has decided to extend the sign-up period for Filipinos who are looking to win the raffle, which includes IKEA home makeover packages worth P50,000 as well as exclusive design consultation with the help of IKEA interior designers.
You may register for free at Family.IKEA.com.ph to enjoy different benefits, experiences, and surprises such as reward points and chances to receive exclusive invites to IKEA’s pre-opening events.
Nine weeks after the official launch of its online shop within the year, IKEA Philippines will open at the SM Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City. It’s set to be its biggest branch in the world.
