ICYDK: UP Open University offers 24 free courses you can put on your resume as training experience

The University of the Philippines Open University is again offering 24 courses that are free, self-paced, and open to everyone this year, with featured categories like ODeL teacher accredication, child rights protection and promotion, technology for teaching and learning, educational media production, sustainable development, business analytics, introduction to distance education, and more.
The massive open online courses, which "can build your credentials and enhance your expertise," include subjects like gender sensitivity training, business analytics concepts and frameworks, principles of graphic design, among others.
"At the end of each course, completers will be awarded e-certificates which you may include in your resume as a 16-hour training," the UPOU said.
If you're interested in taking up any of the courses, you can create an account on its website by following these steps:
- Fill out the registration form here.
- Sign in to your new MODeL account upon receiving the email.
- Change your password to a strong, unique one.
UP Open University has been offering online teaching and learning for years, and "continues to play a leading role in the study and practice of open learning and distance education in the Philippines." It offers courses in different formats and styles.
