Ogie Diaz warns Rosmar Tan following chat with someone posing as Jiro Manio
Talent manager Ogie Diaz warned vlogger Rosemarie "Rosmar" Tan Pamulalaklakin after an account handling the social media presence of former child actor Jiro Manio reached out for a job opportunity.
In a Facebook post, Rosmar said she wanted to give a second chance to those who wished to change within themselves, including 'Jiro Manio' who messaged her asking for a job to sustain his child's needs.
"'Di magsasawang magbigay ng second chance sa kapwa tao dahil lahat naman ng nagkakamali, natuto at nagbabago," she said, adding that she will hire "Jiro" as waiter in her resort in Tagaytay.
"Galingan mo Jiro Manio, Deserve mo ng trabaho para sa pang-aral ng anak mo. Soon makikita nyo sya dito sa R Mansion Tagaytay Resort as waiter ng resto," the vlogger added.
However, Ogie dismissed the conversation immediately, claiming the person Rosmar spoke with was fake.
"Rosmar, fake account po yung kausap nyong Jiro Manio. Kung sino sino po ang tsina-chat niyan. Baka mabudol ka," Ogie said in a Facebook post. "Kausap ko yung totoo, and through us, pakisabi na hindi raw siya yon. Okay ang tumulong, pero wag sa nagpapanggap na nangangailangan."
He continued, "Nag-message na rin sa akin si Fake Jiro, pero dinedma ko, dahil feeling ko, hindi siya."
"Kung saan nandun ang iyong resort, yun ang bigyan mo po ng trabaho para tulong na din sa kanila."
Jiro spent his childhood years in the entertainment scene, rising to fame for his appearances in various commercials, television shows, and films, including Anghel sa Lupa, Ang Tanging Ina, La Vida Rosa, and Manay Po.
He left showbiz in 2011 due to drug addiction and was arrested nine years later for allegedly stabbing a man. He was released after paying bail.
Jiro now works as a co-facilitator at the DOH Treatment and Rehabilitation Facility in Bataan.
Meanwhile, Rosmar is an entrepreneur who focuses on beauty products. She generated buzz online after claiming in an interview that she earns between P5 million and P13 million every day.
She was recently declared persona non grata with internet personality Rendor Labrador following their heated argument with a mayor's staff in Coron, Palawan.
