Typhoon Carina’s relentless downpour, combined with the monsoon, has intensified flooding across several provinces.

As of 2 p.m., the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has raised a red rainfall warning over Zambales, Bataan, Metro Manila, Rizal, Bulacan, Pampanga, and Tarlac. This means intense torrential rains are expected within the few hours.

Government offices, museums, and most establishments in Metro Manila have already closed operations on July 24, while banks issued advisories. Malls are now offering free overnight parking, temporary shelter, and other services to those affected by the weather.
