The Miss Universe Philippines Organization unveiled the top five delegates of this year's Jojo Bragais runway challenge on Sunday, May 12.

Alexie Mae Brooks (Iloilo), Angel Rose Tambal (Leyte), Ma. Ahtisa Manalo (Quezon Province), Matea Mahal Smith (Florida), and Stephanie Faye Gerona (Quirino) are this year's top contenders for the said challenge.

In a Facebook post, the MUPH organization said that the winners were determined by votes from the MUPH app, adding that the top winner in every challenge will get an automatic spot in the finals.

"Pilipinas, here are your choices! These are the TOP 5 delegates in the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 UP RUNWAY CHALLENGE," the caption read.

This is the fourth time Alexie has been among the top delegates in various pageant competitions, including the swimsuit challenge, Zonrox Color safe casting reel, and the national competition round.

Meanwhile, Ahtisa's inclusion in the runway challenge marked her third time as she was among the top delegates for the swimsuit challenge and Zonrox Color safe casting reel as well.

Earlier this month, MUPH announced the top delegates for its swimsuit challenge. These include Alexie and Ahtisa, alongside Dia Mate (Cavite), Patricia Bianca Tapia (Hawaii), and Jet Hammond (Southern California).

On the other hand, the local pageant also revealed the top 3 delegates for the national costume competition, anchoring on the theme "Philippine Flora and Fauna." The top delegates were Alexie, Jet, and Tamara Ocier of Tacloban.

The organization has yet to reveal the top delegates for other challenges, including up-close and personal interviews.

The Miss Universe Philippines coronation night is on May 22 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

Michelle Dee will crown her successor, who will eventually go on to represent the Philippines at the 73rd Miss Universe pageant in Mexico on Sept. 28.
