Get ready, K-drama enthusiasts! Disney+ will bring seven top-rated Korean dramas to its platform this year.

Disney+ announced on Feb. 19 that they are adding new titles to their Korean lineup, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

This comes after critically and commercially popular shows like Moving and Big Bet became smash successes on the streaming service.

The recently announced shows include the thriller Blood Free, the mystery series Unmasked, the action-packed The Tyrant, the crime drama Gangnam B-Side, and a third season of the reality show The Zone: Survival Mission.

Previously, Disney has announced two additional Korean titles that are set to be released this year. These titles are Lightshop, a fantasy movie featuring Park Bo-young and Ju Ji-hoon, and Uncle Samsik, a period drama starring renowned Korean actor, Song Kang-ho, known for his role in the award-winning 2019 South Korean black comedy thriller film Parasite.

To know more about these new five Korean titles, continue reading below.

Blood Free

Blood Free tells the story of a former bodyguard haunted by past mistakes. He is hired to protect the CEO of a lab-grown meat company, who is also a survivor of a life-changing attack.

It features Moving star Han Hyo-Joo and Ju Ji-hoon of Kingdom.

Unmasked

Unmasked is a new drama that features Kim Hye-soo from Under The Queen's Umbrella as the lead actress in a modern-day K-drama story set in Seoul.

The plot follows a group of investigative journalists who find themselves in a difficult situation after publishing a controversial article that leads to the downfall of their careers. They are forced to fight for their jobs and reputations against all odds.

As a way of redemption, the journalists are given an impossible mission, which includes finding a famous actor who disappeared two decades ago.

The Tyrant

Do not miss out on the adrenaline-fueled action that awaits as Kim Seon-ho takes on a new role in an upcoming action series, The Tyrant.

This Korean drama series will feature Cha Seung-won, Kim Seon-ho, and Kim Kang-woo as characters fighting against nefarious forces trying to spread a dangerous new virus stolen from the South Korean government. The protagonist, a U.S. government agent, will lead the fight to stop the virus from spreading.

Gangnam B-Side

From one action series to another!

Gangnam B-Side is a crime-action drama that features Ji Chang-wook and Jo Woo-jin as lead actors.

The narrative centers on a pariah investigator who withdrew from the game when his daughter's friend vanished—the most recent of several women to disappear in Seoul's upscale Gangnam District.

While returning to a world of depravity, drugs, and corruption, the investigator unearths something that might bring down some of the wealthiest elites in the city.

The Zone: Survival Mission - Season 3

If you are tired of watching drama series, try this one!

Girls' Generation member and actor Kwon Yu-ri and comedian Yoo Jae-suk are set to host the third season of the Korean reality game show The Zone: Survival Mission. Along with them, former UFC fighter Kim Dong-Hyun and popular YouTuber Dex will join as new hosts.

The reality show will feature contestants dubbed the "agents of mankind" who must endure eight disaster scenarios for four hours.

The first three episodes debuted simultaneously on Disney+ on Sept. 8, 2022.
