Jason Derulo leaves P274,000 tip to waiter: 'Blessed to be a blessing'

Mmm, whatcha say? American singer Jason Derulo just gave a $5,000 (P274,000) tip to a waiter in Nebraska.

Jordan Schaffer, who works at Charleston's Restaurant in Omaha, posted on TikTok his experience of serving Jason and his family.

In the video, Jason is seen writing down something on the bill worth $759.99.

"Wow, my heart's beating really fast," Jordan tells Jason as everybody was cheering, to which Jason replies, "You guys are really awesome man."

The video then cuts to Jordan thanking the singer for the hefty tip.

“You just paid for a semester at my college. I can’t say thank you enough," he said. "I hope you and your family have a wonderful time in Omaha and I hope you see us again."

He also shows the receipt to viewers.

The video has over 47,500 likes, 600 comments, and 2,100 shares to date.

Jason also left a comment on Schaffer's already viral post.

“You seem like a great person. Thank you for taking such great care of our fam. Keep spreading the love bro,” the singer wrote, to which Schaffer replied, "Thanks man I’ll be telling this crazy story the rest of my life."

Jason also reposted the video with his reaction, captioned "Blessed to be a blessing."

Many users expressed their delight in the comments.
