Former actress Klaudia Koronel shares escape from Palisades fire with her patient
Former actress Klaudia Koronel shared her "war-like" experience as she evacuated her 77-year-old patient with dementia away from the deadly wildfire in Los Angeles County, in Southern California.
Koronel, who works as a nurse aide in the U.S, posted some updates regarding the fire that erupted in the Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles.
"Ito ang bahay namin ng pasyente ko. Nasa likod na ang apoy, napakabilis kasi napakalakas ng hangin, may bagyo kasi ngayon. Nasa likod na! Kaya nag evacuate na kami. Di ko alam kung may uuwian pa kami bukas," she wrote, sharing a photo of her patient's house.
In another post, she said that they were able to successfully evacuate.
Koronel expressed fear, stating that everything happened so quickly. "Masusunog na po ang bahay namin. God, napaka-bilis. Relax pa ako kanina kasi sa isip ko malayo naman Palisades fire. Tapos biglang natanaw ko may apoy na sa likod bahay at naka-recieve ako ng alert na lumikas na kami."
In another video, she captured footage of the fire raging behind their home. "Grabe parang war, 'di ko alam saan nangagaling ang apoy. Nanginginig ako sa takot, natataranta at nagpapanic ako [nang] sobra," she added.
Koronel humbly reached out to her followers and the public, asking for prayers for those affected by the devastating fire and for everyone's continued safety.
"Please pray for our safety. We can smell the smoke and see the flames from the Eaton Canyon Fire above Pasadena. We have received a warning text to prepare to evacuate. Naka evacuate na po kami," she said.
Los Angeles is facing a tragedy after a deadly wildfire broke out and destroyed a large number of homes.
According to reports, the fire has burned over 19,978 acres and destroyed over 1,000 structures in Pacific Palisades alone.
The blaze worsened to the point that it reached the homes of many A-list actors and other prominent personalities in Hollywood, including Paris Hilton, Eugene Levy, and Kate Beckinsale.
Koronel, whose real name is Milfe Dacula, made her film debut in 1997 in the film Kesong Puti. She also portrayed roles in some Filipino sexy movies, including Pisil (1998), Anakan Mo Ako (1999), and action movies such as Dugo Ng Birhen: El Kapitan (1999), Sagot Ko Ang Buhay Mo (2000), and Pasasabugin Ko Ang Mundo Mo (2000).
Aside from being a CNA, she is also active in assisting international activities of the Iglesia ni Cristo.
