A former beauty queen who joined Miss Switzerland in 2007 was allegedly murdered by her partner, who later placed her remains in a blender and pureed them.

Multiple media outlets like PEOPLE Magazine and BBC reported on Thursday, Sept. 12 that the medical report of Kristina Joksimovic has been released, showing how she was allegedly killed by her husband.

After being chopped up and dismembered using a jigsaw and garden shears, her husband allegedly dissolved her body in a blender with the help of a chemical.

According to authorities, the crime took place in February this year in Binningen. Police said Joksimovic's partner told them that he found her lifeless in their home and panicked. He, however, admitted the following month that he killed and dismembered her amid the investigation on the case, local media outlets like 20min and Basellandschaftliche Zeitung (bzbasel) reported, citing a detention hearing and a Federal Court ruling.

Her partner is still in custody as of writing. Charges are yet to be filed against him by the public prosecutor's office.

Joksimovic and her husband have two kids.

Aside from being a beauty queen, Joksimovic was also a model who enjoyed playing volleyball, watching documentaries, and reading books. She was a finalist of the Miss Switzerland pageant that took place in 2007.
