Where #TeamBahay pageant fans can watch Miss Universe 2023 for free
The 2023 Miss Universe will be held on Nov. 18 (Nov. 19 PHT) in El Salvador, with over 90 women competing for the crown.
Michelle Dee of Makati will be representing the Philippines, and her fellow Filipinos may cheer for her from home—for free.
ABS-CBN’s platforms A2Z Channel 11 and iWantTFC will stream the Miss Universe coronation night at 9 a.m.
There will also be a replay later in the day on the Kapamilya Channel’s Sunday Best, Metro Channel, and iWantTFC at 9:30 p.m.
Those who may be busy at work or school may catch replays in the coming days via the Metro Channel.
As previously reported, BeauCon stans who don’t wish to go #TeamBahay may avail of the Miss Universe Organization’s tour packages.
Prices range from $6,650 (P374,000) to $7,650 (P430,000) depending on the type of room.
The package is inclusive of a seven-night stay at a four-star hotel in El Salvador from Nov. 12 to 19; transportation to and from the airport; and a free tour to local attractions with an English-speaking tour guide.
It doesn’t include the airfare itself, and travelers must take care of their own visas and documents.
There's also free admission to the preliminary and national costume show and the final competition, as well as a special gala dinner with the reigning queen, Filipino American R'Bonney Gabriel of the United States, and an exclusive party with her successor.
This year’s Miss Universe is the first edition that will allow married women and mothers to compete.
Previous Filipino winners include Gloria Diaz in 1969, Margie Moran in 1973, Pia Wurtzbach in 2015, and Catriona Gray in 2018.
