Waterbomb Manila announced on its social media pages the revised schedule of the music festival, which is now set to take place at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila on Feb. 22 and 23, 2025. It was previously scheduled on Feb. 8 and 9, 2025 at Metrowalk Ortigas in Pasig City.
“We regret any inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your patience and understanding. We're doing our best to take your feedback into account,” they wrote in their post.
“Rest assured, we are fully committed to ensuring the maximum safety and the best experience for you. Your safety and enjoyment are our top priorities,” they continued.
The organizer also added that they are set to announce this November the lineup of artists who will perform at the two-day event.
Waterbomb Festival is a summer festival that features performances from K-pop artists, as well as fun water activities such as water gun battles and surprise water cannons.
They first teased their Manila edition in July with a poster that said “Hello Manila. Coming soon.”
Aside from Manila, the Waterbomb world tour also includes stops in Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Indonesia, Thailand, and the United Arab Emirates.
This year’s festival in Seoul featured a star-studded lineup featuring K-pop stars like Jay Park, Hwasa, Loco, TWICE’s Nayeon, Kwon Eun Bi, Baekho, Jessi, and K-pop groups WayV, Kiss of Life, and more.
