Derek Ramsay tells Ellen Adarna: ‘Thank you for loving me and allowing me to love you'
Derek Ramsay felt “chemistry” with Ellen Adarna that left him “reeling”—and that’s why he put a ring in it.
On Wednesday, March 31, a day after the two revealed their engagement, Derek took to social media to further share his love for Ellen. Derek and Ellen announced their engagement yesterday, just a month after they admitted their relationship.
Many of their fans and followers may have been caught by surprise by the announcement of their engagement, considering that their relationship seemed to have blossomed only two months ago. But the 44-year-old actor said that he and Ellen felt the “chemistry” since the first day they met.
In fact, Derek said on his Instagram that their chemistry was so strong that he had to “catch my breath at times.”
“I've always said that love is intangible, something you can't see or touch,” he wrote. “But now I believe otherwise,” he said.
Derek added, “The chemistry between us that has left me reeling at times, has made me see, feel, and grasp this unexplainably deep love i now have. When I look at you I see love and when I touch you I embrace love.”
“I am honored and grateful that you said YES BUT most of all Thank you for loving me and allowing me to love you,” he further said.
Ellen replied to Derek’s post by saying, “I love you so very much.”
Derek was previously in a relationship with actress Andrea Torres, while Ellen broke up with actor John Lloyd Cruz over a year ago.
