Ready to take a 'Drunk Break'? Drunk Elephant is coming to the Philippines this October
When bathroom shelfies became popular in 2013, a certain brand with neon packaging (and catchy name) stood out among a sea of millennial pinks. That's Drunk Elephant. Unfortunately for beauty junkies in the Philippines, they had to buy these abroad or lust over the aesthetic photos on their social media feeds. But that's about to change now as it finally makes its way to our tropical shores this October 2022.
Clean beauty brand Drunk Elephant is bringing its wide range of products for face, hair, and body to the Philippines soon at Watsons and SM malls, and its founder Tiffany Masterson is just as excited as we are.
“I’m so excited to be launching in the Philippines", says Masterson. “The Drunk Elephant difference has been such a game changer for so many people, and I can’t wait for the community in the Philippines to experience it for themselves.”

But the brand is not just all about being cute and ~*Instagrammable*~ it's just as effective as it promises. Drunk Elephant believes that when it comes to skincare, you don't need all the fancy ingredients. It's famed for its product range that is free of the ‘Suspicious 6’ (fragrance and dyes, silicones, drying alcohol, essential oils, chemical screens and SLS) and are formulated at optimal pH levels, allowing your skin to return to its "happiest, healthiest state"—or a "Drunk Break".
“When skin is exposed to irritants and sensitizers, damage can be imperceptible and cumulative, leaving it in a reactive mode,” says Masterson. “We believe we have ‘sensitive’ skin, but it’soften really just skin that has become sensitized over time, which is a problem that can be easily addressed.”
What's more is that these products can be blended together easily into what they call “smoothies.” Instead of layering your skincare products like we're all used to, you can mix two or more Drunk Elephant products (except their sunscreens) together depending on what your skin needs.
Some of the brand’s bestselling favorites include the Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser (P2,000, 150ml), a gentle cleanser that contains cantaloupe fruit extract; Lala Retro Whipped Cream (P3,750), a resurfacing cream that is infused with six African oils and a plant ceramide complex; and B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum (P3,050, 50ml), a hydrating serum formulated with pro-vitamin B5 and pineapple ceramide.
Prices of Drunk Elephant products range from P900 to P8,400.
Drunk Elephant will be available online at lookatme.com.ph and in stores at SM Megamall, SM Makati, LOOK At Me SM Aura, and LOOK At Me SM Mall of Asia.
