Heidi Klum talks about her $2 million insured legs and why one leg is more expensive than the other
If you're a supermodel like Heidi Klum, then it's just about right that one (or two) of your body parts are insured.
During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, it was revealed that one of the Klum's legs is insured at $2 million.
Klum, who was being quizzed by DeGeneres in a segment called "Heidi 'Blanking' Klum," said that a client once put an insurance policy on her legs, adding that one of her lower limbs is actually worth more than the other.
“Also, I didn’t insure them, by the way. It was a client that insured them. It wasn’t me,” Klum clarified.
She also explained that the other leg is more expensive than the other due to an accident from her childhood that left her a big scar.
"When I was young, I fell into a glass and I have, like, a big scar," she explained to DeGeneres. "Obviously I put so much spray tan on right now you can't see it right now but yeah, one was more expensive than the other one."
"It's weird the things that some people do," Klum added.
In 2017, Klum once told PEOPLE that one of her legs was insured for $1 million and the other one is $1.2 million. She also added that she started taking care of her body during her 30s and that she "works out now more than ever" to maintain her flawless legs.
“I always enjoyed, and I still do, wearing super short miniskirts showing off my legs. I think legs are sexy. I do like to put a focus on my legs when I go out or when I get onto the red carpet. I do,” she told PEOPLE tarrying her appreciation on her legs.
Meanwhile, she also discussed in the show her collaboration with Snoop Dogg on a new song entitled, Chai Tea WIth Heidi written by a German music producer and her husband, Tom Kaulitz.
“Singing with the rapper was my bucket list number one, and there really was nothing after that,” Klum explained.
"So, I go to Englewood and then we made this song together and it's the craziest thing for me because this is like a dream of all dreams for me to do a song with Snoop Dogg," Klum added.
