'Each stone has a story': Heart Evangelista's custom necklace has diamonds from Chiz, her parents
As Heart Evangelista and Chiz Escudero begin their "Chapter 2," the socialite shared a glimpse of her bridal gown which includes a necklace with stones that each tell a story.
In an interview with Harpers Bazaar Singapore, Heart spilled all the dreamy details of her wedding gown, which was designed by Lebanese fashion designer Elie Saab.
The romantic bridal ensemble was matched with her new paraiba diamond ring from Chiz and a special custom necklace.
True to Heart's creative nature, her custom necklace was made with diamonds from her loved ones.
"I love breathing new life into things—my friends know I'm constantly rearranging my home, painting my bags, finding new ways to wear pieces, etc. It was the same for this special necklace," she shared.
"I have been collecting diamonds since I was very young and some of them were gifts from special people like my mom, dad, and Chiz. Putting them together to make one special piece feels like weaving the chapters of my life together to form a story—a story that I can wear on my neck. I can look at each stone and tell you their story; they're that special to me."
Heart and Chiz renewed their vows on her birthday and their ninth wedding anniversary on Feb. 14 in Balesin.
