What Sen. Chiz Escudero gave Heart Evangelista on her birthday, Valentine's Day, wedding anniversary
Feb. 14 is Heart Evangelista’s day as it’s not only Valentine’s Day but also her birthday and her wedding anniversary with her husband, Sen. Chiz Escudero.
The actress shared several Instagram Story entries of her “salubong” at Balesin Island, where she can be seen wearing a gray outfit while there’s a countdown going on before her loved ones sang Happy Birthday.
A fan page dedicated to the local star compiled some of her expired stories into Instagram Reels.
In one of her IG stories, Heart can be seen with a bouquet of red roses from Chiz as well as a velvet box that contained a white diamond ring.
Chiz's gift was a pleasant surprise, so much so that Heart can be heard screaming with joy. "Ang ganda!" she said as she wore the ring.
Heart and Chiz marked their ninth wedding anniversary by renewing their vows. They have been married since February 2015.
This comes almost two years after breakup speculations between them spread on social media for months. The rumors began in 2022 when the actress removed “Escudero” from her Instagram name. They circulated even further after she admitted she was going through some “personal struggles” and revealed she bought her own place in Paris.
She indirectly shut down the rumors in December of the same year by posting a photo of herself with the caption: “Walking around Paris before heading home for New Year. P.S. See you soon, @escuderochiz.”
The couple welcomed 2023 as a couple and have since been spotted in several locations together.
