Composer who made claims against Moira Dela Torre says he had 'heartfelt, tearful' talk with her parents

Lolito Go—the composer who accused Moira Dela Torre of hiring a ghostwriter for her songs and cheating on estranged husband Jason Hernandez—said he has had a "heartfelt, tearful" talk with her parents.

In a Facebook post on Tuesday, May 30, the former couple's industry colleague posted a detailed response to Moira's mother Raquel, who commented on his rejoinder to the singer.

Earlier in the day, Moira dismissed "harmful" accusations against her and said she's "fully prepared" to provide evidence that she doesn't have a ghostwriter, including screenshots of conversations and recordings of her songs.

Go, then, made a separate post saying he can provide "receipts" to substantiate his claims. He also shared a screenshot of a would-be Messenger conversation with an anonymous Facebook user who, he said, already deactivated their account. The user, who Go didn't explicitly say was Moira, supposedly asked for his services for a "new album."

That's when Raquel responded to him, questioning the authenticity of the screenshot while challenging Go to release all screenshots. She also claimed Go kept on borrowing money from Moira, and that it was he who supposedly pushes for himself to ghostwrite for Moira. A screenshot of her comment was included in Go's post. 

Go edited his original post three hours later, saying he had a "heartfelt, tearful" talk with Tita Raquel, as well as Moira's father that he addressed as Tito John.

"Maraming bagay ang nalinaw. Lumuwag ang mga puso namin," Go said. "Sana magpatuloy na lang yung ganitong peace."

He noted that during their talk, he mentioned to them things he cannot post on social media. He also highlighted their religiosity. "Moira's parents are indeed people of God. God was in the middle of us during the talk."

Be that as it may, Go said he stands by the things he said. "Uulitin ko ang sinabi ko sa original post at paninindigan ko ito, we sometimes need dissonance to achieve harmony," he said. "We sometimes have to wage war to achieve peace. I needed to call out what needs to be called out."

Go is hoping for the ongoing social media feud to end, as it's only supposedly the "marites" or gossipmongers who enjoy it.

"We will settle things privately. At alam kong makakamove-on din tayong lahat," he concluded his post.

Go made the rounds online on May 28, when he shared in a Facebook post what he believes he knows about Moira and Jason's breakup in May 2022 based on his "personal experiences" with the two. While Jason admitted to being "unfaithful to Moira during their marriage," Go claimed that the singer is "more of an oppressor than a victim."
