Kylie Verzosa had sound words for those going through a break-up: 'Pahinga muna ‘yung puso. Work muna’
Miss International 2016 Kylie Versoza is giving her heart a break and diving into work in the meantime.
In a vlog interview with talent manager Ogie Diaz, Kylie was asked if she was still "broken" over her recent separation with Jake Cuenca. She diverted the question to show support for the Leni Robredo and Kiko Pangilinan campaign rally she was attending at the time.
"Pahinga muna 'yung puso, pahinga muna," Kylie said. "Work muna."
When asked for her advice to people going through the same thing, the beauty queen was taken by surprise by the question and initially laughed it off. She then regained her composure and gave the sound advice.
"Kaya niyo 'yan!" Kylie said. "Take it one day at a time. Time will heal all wounds."
The two have also not spoken nor seen each other after the separation. However, Kylie still showed some love to her former beau of three years: "Nagpapasalamat lang ako sa lahat. Nagpapasalamat ako sa lahat ng nangyari."
Likewise, Cuenca confirmed their amicable separation in an Instagram post with a photo of the two holding hands and a figurine of them.
“This was us. I’ll hold on to all our precious memories together with so much value. [These] past 3 years of my life have certainly been the best. I say this with such a heavy heart but me and Kylie have decided to go our separate ways,” Cuenca wrote.
The ex-couple had met in 2017 on the set of the Coco Martin-led film, Ang Panday. After dating rumors swirled between the pair in 2018, Jake and Kylie went on the show Tonight with Boy Abunda to confirm their relationship.
