Gabby Concepcion pens sweet message for ex-wife Sharon Cuneta: 'We got closer again'
Gabby Concepcion showed his appreciation to his ex-wife Sharon Cuneta in a sweet Instagram post.
The former couple reunited for their Dear Heart concert tour, which recently ran a show in Hawaii.
On Nov. 25, Gabby shared a few clips of sweet moments from their shows.
"I thought when I lost you, I lost all of them (the fans)," the Megastar told the actor in the video. "Don't worry, nandyan lang ako," he responded.
"After all the shows na ating nagawa, I think we've become closer to each other," Gabby added.
Sharon also said that after the shows they did together, she'll miss her ex-husband.
The reel went on to show the two singing together, dancing, hugging, and Gabby wiping away Sharon's tears.
In his caption, the actor-singer thanked their fans for supporting their concert tour. He was also thankful because he and Sharon "got closer again, understood each other better, and made [each other] a better person."
"Then she broke down in tears... that I comforted her with care. Konting humor na I did not have my hanky... I felt something building up from within but she manifested it first," he said.
"I realized at that very moment, these were 'tears of joy.'"
Sharon and Gabby began their US and Canada tour in November, performing in different cities in California and Canada. Their most recent show was on Nov. 24 at the Hawaii Convention Center.
Before going abroad, their Dear Heart show was held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena and in Cebu City in 2023. This was their first concert together.
The show's title is inspired by the couple's 1981 film of the same name. They married in September 1984 and a year later had their daughter KC Concepcion.
The two legally separated in 1987 and had their marriage annulled in 1993.
