It's over for Lee Jae Wook and aespa's Karina.

The Korean stars have broken up just a few weeks after confirming their romance, their respective agencies said.

Local media outlet TenAsia first reported about their split on Tuesday, April 2.

According to K-entertainment site Soompi, Lee Jae Wook's management confirmed the news later in the day. "Lee Jae Wook decided on the breakup in order to focus on the project he is currently filming. The two decided to remain as colleagues who support each other," C-JeS said in a statement.

"They will each greet [fans] through good activities from their respective positions going forward. Please show lots of warm interest and support," they added.

Karina's agency, SM Entertainment, also confirmed their split. "It is true they broke up," they said.

The former couple was revealed to be dating in February, with their agencies saying they were "getting to know each other."

It came after Dispatch reported that their romance began in January after meeting at the Prada fashion show during the Milan Fashion Week.

"They continued their relationship from Milan into Seoul. They took it to the 'Next Level'. Despite their busy schedule due to performances and dramas, they enjoyed their time together whenever they had time," according to Dispatch.

Lee Jae Wook made his television debut in 2018 in the drama Memories of the Alhambra on tvN. He has since starred in other K-dramas, including Search: WWW, Extraordinary You, Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol, Alchemy of Souls, and Death's Game.

Karina, meanwhile, is known for being a member of the girl group aespa. Debuting in 2020, they are best known for their hit songs, including Black Mamba, Next Level, Savage, Girls, and Spicy
