Yoo Jae Myung, Kim Soo Hyun in talks to star in new drama
Yoo Jae Myung and Kim Soo Hyun are set to star in a new dark comedy series.
According to a report by Korean media outlet Soompi, Yoo Jae Myung’s agency, Ace Factory, confirmed that the actor has joined the possible lineup of the upcoming series titled Knock Off, saying that "the outlook is favorable.”
This comes after Kim Soo Hyun’s agency confirmed that he is “positively in talks” to star in the upcoming offering.
Knock Off is said to be a dark comedy series directed by Park Hyun Suk—who helmed hit dramas Uncontrollably Fond, Song of the Bandits, and Forest of the Secrets (Stranger) 2.
More details including the plot, additional cast, and the streaming platform for its release are yet to be announced.
Yoo Jae Myung is best known for his roles in hit K-dramas Reply 1988, Vincenzo, Itaewon Class, Strong Girl Bong-soon, and Kingmaker.
Kim Soo Hyun, meanwhile, is famous for his roles in the series Dream High, It’s Okay to Not Be Okay, The Producers, and tvN’s highest-rating drama Queen of Tears.
