After months of extended period of rest following a widely successful four-day “Permission to Dance on Stage” tour in Los Angeles, California, South Korean supergroup BTS is hitting the stage once again to the delight of their fans worldwide.

The Bangtan Boys will be back on stage in their home turf of Seoul, with a three-day concert, which will not only be enjoyed by fans in South Korea but also those from around the world through live stream.

On Feb. 16, BigHit Music announced through fan platform Weverse that the “BTS Permission to Dance on Stage — Seoul” concert will be held at the Seoul Olympic Stadium. Check out the dates below:

  • March 10, Thursday (7 p.m. Korea time, 6 p.m. Philippine time)
  • March 12, Saturday (6 p.m. Korea time, 5 p.m. Philippine time)
  • March 13, Sunday (6 p.m. Korea time, 5 p.m. Philippine time)

The group’s offline performances for Mar. 10 and 13 will be streamed live online for those who will not be able to attend the concert in person at the 70,000-seat stadium.

Meanwhile, the show on Mar. 12 will be broadcast in cinemas across the world for “Live Viewing” events.

Tickets for the in-person concerts will reportedly be available for purchase through Interpark for 165,000 Korean won (about P7,000) for general admission, and 220,000 Korean won (about P9,400) for VIP.

Additional details about the concert, including in-person and livestream tickets sale dates, will be available on a later date, according to the agency.

BigHit also announced it will be hosting a fan event using clappers that will feature a slogan made with an ARMY’s message to BTS. All fans are eligible to send in their message starting Feb. 16. (Click here to join.)

The announcement came following the news that some members of the group have tested positive for COVID-19 including Kim Taehyung or V, and Park Jimin, who has since recovered.

Though the group did remote performances of their hit songs like Butter and Dynamite at the height of the pandemic, the BTS Permission to Dance on Stage — Seoul concert will be the first time after over two years that the septet will be performing in their homeland in front of a live audience.

Their last in-person concert in South Korea was for the BTS World Tour “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself” performances in October 2019, also held at the Seoul Olympic Stadium.
