Heart Evangelista opened up about Senate President Chiz Escudero’s health, sharing that she now makes sure that “everything is perfect” following a recent scare.

The actress-fashion style icon talked more about Escudero’s health in her latest guest appearance on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.

Host Boy Abunda asked her about the senator's health, following the rumors that spread in April that he was rushed to the hospital.

“He’s very good, he’s super good now,” she said. When asked about the “fake news,” she said without getting into details, “He had an episode.”

"It was an episode and it was a scary episode, but it was a wake-up call for all of us to just really make sure that health is wealth,” she added.

Heart added that she now makes sure that “everything is perfect” regarding Chiz’s health, while also implying that she might not survive if anything happens to him.

“And now he’s doing very, very good, everything perfect—and I make sure na perfect; Kasi if he goes, I go,” she said.

“’You jump, I jump,’ I swear. Ako na lang mauna, 'di ko talaga kaya," she added.

Heart continued to stress that Chiz is her “everything.”

"It is a cruel world. It’s a mean world, and without Chiz, I don’t know how will I survive because he’s my everything,” she said.

"Of course, God’s my everything, but mauna na lang talaga ako,” she continued.

Heart and Chiz first tied the knot in 2015 after dating for three years.

The breakup rumors in 2022 began when Heart removed “Escudero” from her Instagram name. Rumors spread further after she admitted she was going through some “personal struggles” and revealed she bought her own place in Paris

Heart indirectly shut down the rumors in December of the same year by posting a photo of herself with the caption: “Walking around Paris before heading home for New Year. P.S. See you soon, @escuderochiz.”

Heart and Chiz welcomed 2023 as a couple and have since been spotted in several locations together.

They renewed their vows last Feb. 14—a triple celebration of Valentine’s Day, Heart’s birthday, and their ninth wedding anniversary—in Balesin Island.

In March, they opened up about the time they went through a rough patch in their marriage, with Chiz saying that while it was a “difficult” time, God made it easier for him.

“Lesson learned there is be still,” he said. “Lalo kang may ginagawa, lalong nagkakaletse-letse. You really have to surrender,” pertaining to his faith in God.
