Julia Barretto to replace Bea Alonzo in upcoming movie with Alden Richards
Julia Barretto is set to replace Bea Alonzo in an upcoming project with Alden Richards.
“Dating Alden-Bea, tapos I think nag-issue naman ng statement kami and ang GMA na magpapahinga yata muna si Bea. So, si Julia na,” he said.
The Viva executive said Julia is feeling excited about the movie and that she really likes the character she'll be portraying.
“Excited siya, hindi lang dito pero pati ‘yung movie nila with Aga Muhlach na Forgetting. Syempre, isa si Julia sa mga importanteng artista ng Viva so binibigyan siya ng magaganda and malalaking projects,” he said.
“She’s professional naman and nagustuhan niya ‘yung role,” he added.
In May, Boy Abunda announced in his show that Bea has "begged off" from doing the film due to "schedule problems."
The upcoming project is titled Special Memory and it will be a local adaptation of the South Korean movie A Moment to Remember. Directed by Nuel Naval, it’s slated for production in late July or early August.
