Sam Smith to hold concert in Manila this October
Sam Smith fans are in for a treat in October as the singer-songwriter is set to come back to Manila for a concert.
In an announcement posted on May 8, events organizer Live Nation Philippines said that Smith is set to grace Mall of Asia Arena on Oct. 21 for a concert to promote their latest studio album Gloria.
Details regarding the ticketing prices of the upcoming concert have yet to be announced. However, Live Nation Philippines assured that more information will be given soon.
Smith released Gloria, which serves as their fourth studio album, back on Jan. 27, It tackles themes of sex, lies, passion, self-expression, and imperfection.
The British artist had previously released a music video for the fourth single in the album titled I'm Not Here to Make Friends, which they said was a way for him to accept his physical appearance and break the stereotypes of how a pop star should look like.
Smith's upcoming concert marks the third time the singer visited the Philippines. The first time was for their "In The Lonely Hour" tour on Nov. 21, 2015, followed by their "The Thrill of It All" tour on October 5, 2018.
