Watch: Enrique Gil transforms into BTS' V in 'Dynamite' cover
The King of the Gil's back dancing!
For his recent vlog post, Enrique Gil gets "convinced" to do a full-fledged dance video recreation of what else but a song by BTS?
The video became quite a tell-all of the actor-performer being an ARMY (Read: Proud BTS fan). The details of his fandom would come out as his sister Andie talked to him while doing his makeup.
"Fun fact, guys, the first time we ever watched BTS, was in Hong Kong," Andie began, as Gil sat in the makeup chair. "And let me just say si Quen talaga pinaka-ARMY kasi ang dami nyang ginawa para lang manood!"
"And I bought all the tickets," Gil cut her as if to magnify his level of fandom.
"Yes!" to which Andie only agreed, "He went home to Manila a day before the concert, and then he flew again back to Hong Kong for the concert."
Throughout the rather candid vlog, Gil went to reveal Jungkook and J-Hope/Hobi as his favorite BTS dancers. On the last one, he had a very specific reason why — "It's close to Hopie!" (That's Liza Soberano's nickname — Hopie, of course, is also a huge fan!)
Later in the video, to conclude the Kpop transformation, a groomed Gil would slip into a green vested suit and tie a la Kim Taehyun/V from the Dynamite music video. He then danced his heart out to the hit song, complete with the "disco" set used in the actual music video as his background.
Check him turn his dance mode back on and see if his suave dance moves measured up to the original!
