‘Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha’ star Kim Seonho, SNSD’s Yoona confirmed as leads for upcoming rom-com flick
Kim Seonho and Yoona fans, rejoice!
Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha and Start-Up star Kim Seonho and Girls’ Generation’s (SNSD) Im Yoona are confirmed to be the leads for the upcoming film 2 O’Clock Date.
In a report from Soompi, the rom-com flick tells the story of two neighbors who end up meeting every day. The movie is set to begin filming in March 2022.
Although this will be Seonho and Yoona’s first film, they previously worked together as hosts for the 2020 MBC Music Festival. They also performed a cover of the popular K-drama track Perhaps Love.
Seonho currently stars as Hong Dusik in the 2021 slice-of-life series Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha. He gained domestic and international recognition for his portrayal of Han Jipyeong in the 2020 K-drama Start-Up.
Yoona is known as the center and lead dancer of the K-pop girl group Girl’s Generation. She also appeared in the K-dramas The K2, Love Rain, and You Are My Destiny.
