New posters of 'Fantastic Beasts 3' reveal who'll be back in the 'Harry Potter' prequel
Are you ready for another movie set in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter?
Warner Bros. unveiled several new posters for the upcoming Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, highlighting the new and returning characters in the movie.
In the previous Crimes of Gindelwald film, fans were reacquainted with a younger Albus Dumbledore. This third installment of the prequel series sees dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald continuing to grow in power amid World War II. To keep the peace, Dumbledore turns to Newt Scamander to build a team that can stop Grindelwald from taking over the wizarding world. While the future Hogwarts headmaster chose to stay on the sidelines, he may have to enter the battle to defeat the dark wizard.
Based on the newly released posters, Eddie Redmayne (Newt Scamander), Jude Law (Albus Dumbledore), Ezra Miller (Credence), Dan Fogler (Jacob Kowalski), Alison Sudol (Queenie Goldstein), Callum Turner (Theseus Scamander), and Jessica Williams (Lally Hicks) will reprise their roles.
We'll also get to see more of Richard Coyle (Aberforth Dumbledore), Victoria Yeates (Bunty), William Nadylam (Yusuf Kama), and Poppy Corby-Tuech (Vinda Rosier). New faces include Aleksandr Kuznetsov (Helmut), Dave Wong (Liu Tao), Oliver Masucci (Anton Vogel), and Maria Fernanda Candido (Vicencia Santos).
Mads Mikkelsen will also be introduced in the movie, stepping in the shoes of Grindelwald, taking over the role from Johnny Depp. The actor was asked to step down following court cases against ex-wife Amber Heard.
Fantastic Beasts 3 is set to premiere in April 2022.
