It’s official: Park Seo Joon is Smart’s newest endorser
You read it right: Park Seo Joon is the newest member of the Smart family for its latest product, Smart K-Life!
Smart Communications, Inc. announced on Wednesday, October 28, that the Korean actor indeed joins fellow K-drama actors Hyun Bin and Son Ye-Jin, which is a "historic milestone for Smart" according to Alfred Panlilio, President and CEO of Smart Communications, Inc.
PSJ is the face of Smart's newest product, the Giga K-Video, a prepaid service that allows users to access K-drama and films via Viu Premium. "Giga K-Video makes watching K-dramas and films easier," said Jane Basas, SVP and of Head of Consumer Wireless Business at Smart.
Park Seo Jun said, “Filipinos and Koreans uphold common values especially when it comes to love for family and friends, and I think this is one of the reasons K-dramas resonate well with many Filipino viewers. I am thankful for this opportunity to encourage more Filipinos to discover and enjoy more Korean content and to take a breather from these uncertain times.”
Four days ago, the telecommunications company posted on social media a teaser video of a guy showing only his feet and chest, and captioned it: "You're one step closer to a better K-Life." And because Hyun Bin was already announced as their endorser last June, fans were speculating who that one is. One said, "Don't think it's Hyun Bin." Another Instagram user said, "If we can just see the Adam’s apple we’ll be able to tell if it’s HyunBin or not."
And in case you're wondering, yes, PSJ IS coming to the Philippines as confirmed by Panlilio. "It's just a matter of timing," he said pertaining to the world's current situation.
Congratulations, Park Seo Joon!
