MrBeast says he’s renting out Egyptian pyramids for an upcoming YouTube video
YouTube star MrBeast said he has rented Egyptian pyramids for 100 hours for his upcoming video.
The YouTuber, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, shared the news in his recent guest appearance on the “Beyond the Records” podcast of Olympian content creator Noah Lyles.
“We got all three of the pyramids of Egypt for 100 hours. I’m gonna do a video where they’re gonna let me explore anywhere I want in the pyramids,” MrBeast said. “We're gonna sleep at the pyramids all to ourselves.”
When asked how he secured permission, he said, “We worked with the Egyptian government.”

“I've never been inside of it, I want to just like, find secrets and just go through all the rooms and the tombs and that kind of stuff,” he continued, adding that they will be joined by an expert who will guide them during their visit.
He continued that he plans to explore the monumental tombs and see rooms that “no one’s seen publicly.”
“I'm so excited because there’s all these secret corridors deep below, I don’t know what to expect,” the YouTube star continued. While they haven’t started filming yet, he hinted that they go on a “ghost hunting adventure” alongside his friends.
“I don’t really believe in ghosts or anything, but some of my friends are coming to do it. They're bringing all sorts of gadgets that like, sense out ghosts and things which I think are a sham. We haven’t filmed it yet,” he said.
