Trans man thanks Taylor Swift for letting him be her love interest in ‘Lavender Haze’ music video

Transgender model Laith Ashley expressed his gratitude to Taylor Swift for allowing him to be her love interest in her music video for Lavender Haze.
In an Instagram post, Ashley shared a portion of the newly released MV with the caption: “Thank you, Taylor Swift, for allowing me to play a small part in your story. You are brilliant and this is an experience I will never forget. It was truly magical.”
“Your storytelling abilities through your music and visuals continue to leave me in awe, inspired, and hopeful,” he added.
The LGBTQ+ member went on to thank the singer “for being an ally and for continuously using your platform for good. Representation matters, and love will always win.”
On Friday, Jan. 27 (Philippine time), Swift dropped her music video for her synth-pop and R&B track under her hit album Midnights. It was written and directed by the award-winning singer. Watch the full video here:
