The first MUJI Coffee opens in the Philippines this June
A bigger and better MUJI Central Square is opening this June—and with it is the much-awaited MUJI Coffee.
MUJI's BGC branch has moved to a bigger space, with a size of 1,400 square meters—three times the size of its previous store in Bonifacio High Street. The Japanese fashion and lifestyle store has announced that their Central Square branch will be opening on Friday, June 3, 2022.
"With a much bigger space, MUJI aims to enrich the daily lives of its customers, especially those in the BGC community, by offering products and services that are essential to achieve a simple and pleasant life," the press release stated.
The store's opening will also be come with new and exciting features such as the first ever MUJI Coffee, a place where shoppers can enjoy their coffee or tea drink to go with their light Japanese snacks.
The beverages served in MUJI Coffee will make use of coffee beans and tea leaves that are certified by the Rainforest Alliance, an international non-government organization that fights against deforestation and climate change. To support this cause, their drinks will come in sustainable or recyclable packaging, too.
Additionally, the MUJI Central Square branch will also have the biggest display of MUJI Walker active wear, Children’s Wear, and Innerwear, as well as the MUJI Water Refilling Station where anyone who visits the store can get free water using their own reusable bottle or MUJI My Water Bottle.
You could also find their MUJI Labo unisex clothing line in the store and receive free consultation services with their Interior, Styling, and Experience Advisors. Moreover, there's also the Open MUJI space, where various workshops and events will be held.
MUJi Central Square is their second biggest store in the country. It is located at the 2nd floor of Central Square Mall in BGC, Taguig.
