PH women's national football team search interest reaches global all-time high
Search interest in the Philippine women's national football team reached a global all-time high following its FIFA Women's World Cup debut and historic win against host country New Zealand.
Google Trends on X (formerly Twitter) shared an art card indicating that the Filipino women's team last trended in 2004, the team's first appearance at the AFF Women's Championship in Vietnam.
"Still riding the high from last night's game? You're not alone," Google Trends said.

To date, the country's players Olivia McDaniel, Jessica Cowart, Sarina Bolden, and Sara Eggsevik are among the top search trends in the United States.
"Philippines," "Philippines World Cup," and "Philippines vs. New Zealand" are also part of the rising queries.
Team Philippines secured its historic first goal thanks to striker Bolden.
The country will face Norway next on July 30 in a bid to advance to the knockout rounds.
