Are you planning to pursue a post-graduate degree in the United States? Here’s some good news: Fulbright has extended the application program for its foreign student program until May.
The non-profit organization announced that they are extending the deadline for the Fulbright Foreign Student Program (FFSP) for 2025-2026 to May 15. This program helps Filipinos to pursue master’s, doctoral studies, or non-degree doctoral dissertation research in the United States.
Under the FFSP, successful grantees will have free education to "a maximum of one academic year for non-degree, one to two years for master’s, and two years for doctoral degree studies." They will also be entitled to free round-trip international travel, monthly maintenance allowance, tuition and fees, book/supplies allowance, and health and accident insurance.
Among the courses you can choose from include programs about American culture, life, and society through fields that include government, education, arts and humanities, and law, among others.
You may also opt for programs tackling global issues, including the study of the environment, human rights, governance and public administration, peace studies/conflict resolution/transformation, among others.
There's also an open grant for students for fields of study not covered by those mentioned above, except medicine, nursing, physical and occupational therapy, clinical psychology, medical technology, and accountancy.
