Here’s what Travis Kelce thinks of Taylor Swift’s new album
Taylor Swift's The Tortured Poets Department features some songs that appear to be about Travis Kelce—how does he feel about this?
According to entertainment outlet E! News, an insider told them that the Kansas City Chiefs player "is so supportive of the entire album."
The source added that he "loves that he is a part of Taylor's story" and that he "is very proud of her."
Swift dropped her 11th album on Friday, April 19—less than two months after announcing it at the 2024 GRAMMYs as she accepted her award for Best Pop Vocal Album for her hit album Midnights.
Fans were quick to speculate that she gave Travis some loving mentions in tracks like The Alchemy and So High School. The two sparked romance speculations in September after being spotted at Kansas City Chiefs' home game against the Chicago Bears.
Apart from the football player, other songs seemingly referenced her past romance with Joe Alwyn and Matty Healy, including TTPD that seemingly talks about the latter's love for typewriters and Fortnight that revolves around a romance that was short but intense.
Healy was recently asked by the paparazzi in Los Angeles whether he has listened to TTPD. “I haven’t really listened to that much of it,” he responded, E! Online reported. “But I'm sure it's good.”
Romance rumors between her and Healy were fueled in 2014, and again in May last year after The Sun exclusively reported that an insider “close to Taylor” revealed they were “madly in love with each other.” It came nearly a month after Swift’s reported breakup with Alwyn in early April following a six-year relationship.
Entertainment Tonight, citing a source, reported in June 2023 that she and Healy have called it quits as they “were both extremely busy and realized they’re not really compatible with each other.”
