WATCH: JK Labajo sings broken-hearted version of 'Buwan' after ending 3-year romance with Wroblewitz
Two days after celebrity couple JK Labajo and Maureen Wroblewitz announced their breakup, Labajo sang a "broken-hearted version" of his hit song Buwan that trended on Tiktok.
The Filipino-German singer performed the song with changed lyrics at the Yamaha Philippines #StartYOUniqueness Mio Fazzio launch on Sunday, June 12, just two days after the couple announced their break-up last Friday.
“Ako’y sayo, ika’y ‘di akin. Ganda mo pa rin sa paningin. Ako ngayo’y nag-iisa. Umaasang ako’y tabihan na.” Labajo said as he sang the first few lines of his song and left the crowd in awe after realizing that the actor-singer changed the original lyrics.

Despite the mutual decision of Labajo and Wroblewitz, “the most heartbreaking part of the breakup is the absence of cheating,” said Tiktok user @smally_.
“Age gap is not an issue then but they really need to grow na din individually especially sa careers nila,” chimed in @mirac_elle.
Labajo’s heartfelt performance became emotional but he was still able to give the crowd a great show.
Wroblewitz also made an appearance in Yamaha’s #StartYOUniqueness event together with artists Arthur Nery and Shehyee.
