Pauline Amelinckx flies to Poland for Miss Supranational 2023: 'I hope I make you all proud'
Pauline Amelinckx is all set to raise the flag at the Miss Supranational 2023!
In an Instagram post, the Philippine bet announced that she was heading to Poland for this year’s international competition.
“Poland, here I come,” she captioned her photos, where she can be seen in an all-blue ensemble styled by Mikee Andrei. She completed the look with Philippine flag earrings from Farah Abu.
“This is really it. We have waited and prayed for this day and finally (after all the stressful, busy, sad, and happy days) here we are!” she continued.
The 27-year-old beauty queen went on to share that while she's feeling nervous about what's to come, the excitement and gratitude she has outweigh it all. "We never really are 100% ready. If we waited to be 100% ready all the time, we might never even start. What's important is to have the courage to take that first step and be willing to grow along the way."
“I will be raising our flag high and will wear the Philippine sash across my heart with both humility and pride. PARA SA PILIPINAS!” she concluded.
In a separate post, Pauline talked about the importance of the pageant to her, pointing out that this is her first time competing abroad.
“This send-off was so special for me. It's my [first] time competing in a pageant abroad, [first] time to represent the Philippines, and also [first] time to be away by myself for this long (anticipating 4 weeks!),” she wrote.
“It’s new, it’s exciting, it’s also a little scary. But that's exactly why I have to go through this and grow outside my comfort zone.”
“And knowing that I have all this love and support from so many different and dedicated people fills me with so much strength! I hope I make you all proud on this journey!” she concluded.
Pauline was named the country’s representative to the Miss Supranational pageant in a separate awarding ceremony that took place after the Miss Universe Philippines 2023 coronation night on May 13. She will vie for the country's second crown in the international competition next month in Poland.
